TASTING NOTES

Deep ruby red with garnet hues, the result of the wine’s evolution after almost four years between barrel aging and bottle aging.
On the nose, it shows ripe black fruit (plum, blackberry) over a base of vanilla and cedar from the French oak. The first hints of tertiary development — subtle notes of tobacco — begin to emerge, without yet overshadowing its core fruit character.
On the palate, the attack is soft, with polished tannins that are well integrated after 18 months of barrel aging. Medium to full-bodied, with the fresh acidity typical of the Alto Valle de Río Negro, which adds tension despite the ripeness of the fruit.
Long finish, with a spicy, slightly smoky aftertaste.
