Río Negro
Patagonia is our essence, with all its vastness of extreme horizons, harsh climates and strong winds. It is the end of the world, land of dinosaurs, glaciers, lakes, mountains, desert… and it is also the wine.
Location and Climate:
The Humberto Canale Winery is located at 39.2 degrees south latitude, in the Argentine Patagonia, in the upper valley of the Negro River.
Region with a special climate, in which are alternating very cold nights and days of intense sunshine, with great thermal amplitude, especially during the twenty days before the harvest. In addition the constant winds make the vine generate a defense system thickening the skin, which produces a higher concentration in the wines and more color. These factors make up an ideal factor for the cultivation of varieties.
