TASTING NOTES

Deep ruby red with garnet hues, a sign of the wine’s evolution after almost four and a half years between barrel aging and bottle aging. On the nose, the blend unfolds in layers: ripe black fruit (blackberry, cassis) and a hint of plum from the Malbec and Merlot, over a more austere, spicy structure that suggests the presence of Cabernet Sauvignon (black pepper, subtle herbal notes). The French oak adds vanilla, while the first tertiary notes begin to emerge — tobacco, a touch of leather — as a result of bottle aging. On the palate, the entry is firm, with ripe, well-polished tannins. Full-bodied, with Cabernet Sauvignon providing structure, Malbec bringing softness and volume, and Merlot rounding out the whole.
